Fleet management

Also known as: Fleet management · Fuhrparkmanagement · vehicle fleet management

Fleet management covers running a driving school's vehicles: master data and licence classes per car, mileage, fuel and cost accounting, plus OBD fault-memory warnings captured during lessons.

Fleet management (in German Fuhrparkmanagement) bundles everything around the training vehicles. In driving-school software this typically includes:

  • Vehicle master data: make/model, plate, automatic/manual, simulator flag, assigned licence classes, several vehicle photos.
  • Mileage: as the logbook baseline; declining values are rejected.
  • Fuel & cost: litres/kWh per drive, l/100 km, fuel and wear costs — also per student.
  • OBD fault memory: warning badges with open trouble codes per vehicle.

RoadReview can also pre-fill vehicle data via a VIN lookup and export a driver-assistance datasheet (FAS, Annex 7 of the German FeV) as evidence.

An important boundary: mileage is maintained manually. There is no live connection to manufacturer / connected-car APIs, no warning-light or tyre-pressure display, and no automatic roadworthiness (TÜV/HU) reminders — the vehicle drive data comes from the OBD link of the RoadReview drive-data system.
