Geofencing

Also known as: Geo-fencing · Geozone

Geofencing defines virtual zones on a map. A system configured for this purpose can trigger an action when a device enters or leaves a zone, such as displaying a notification.

Geofencing combines location data with virtual circular or polygon zones. When a device enters or leaves a zone, a system configured for this purpose can trigger an action, such as displaying a notification.

RoadReview Mobile links documented situations and audio memos to the location and time of a lesson. School practice locations can be managed on a map and derived from error clusters. This location link is distinct from an action triggered by entering a geofence. The instructor selects the lesson type during setup.

For personal location data, the purpose, legal basis and retention period need to be established. Location-based analysis does not mean the individual route has been deleted or anonymised.
