Standardstunde (standard lesson)

A Standardstunde is a regular practical basic-training lesson without special-purpose status. The amount of practice and next learning goals depend on training progress.
Standardstunde or Übungsstunde means a regular lesson in practical basic training. A 45-minute billing unit is commonly used; the agreed duration follows the driving school’s offer.
Section 5 FahrschAusbO distinguishes basic training from special-purpose lessons. It does not set a fixed minimum number of regular practice lessons for first-time Klasse B learners. The instructor may only conclude training once the prescribed instruction has been completed and they are satisfied that the training objectives have been achieved (Section 6).
