Measure exam readiness — as orientation.
Measuring exam readiness in RoadReview means a score from 0 to 100 that bundles error rate, error severity, trend and lesson volume into a transparent orientation value — visible to student and instructor, explicitly a recommendation and not a guarantee.
A score from four components
The readiness score combines several weighted components — error rate, error severity, trend and the volume of documented lessons. Bands from "orientation" to "advanced" and a multi-week trend make the trajectory visible.
- 0–100 scale with four bands
- Multi-week development instead of one isolated assessment
- The same view for student and instructor
Orientation, not a guarantee
The score is deliberately an orientation value: it does not replace the judgement of the instructor or the examining body, and it is not a promise that an exam will be passed. It helps place the training level and set priorities.
Frequently asked questions
How is exam readiness calculated?
From several weighted components — error rate, error severity, trend and the volume of documented lessons. That yields a score from 0 to 100 with bands and a multi-week trend.
Is the score a guarantee of passing?
No. The exam-readiness score is explicitly an orientation value and a recommendation — not a guarantee. It does not replace the instructor’s assessment or the examining body’s judgement.
Who can see exam readiness?
Student and instructor see the same score, giving a shared, transparent basis for the conversation about the next step.
Where does the underlying data come from?
From the documented practical training — the recorded drives with mistakes, ratings and lesson volume. The more that is documented, the more reliable the orientation value becomes.
