See how credited appointments compare with weekly target hours.
Set weekly target hours, the account start date and carry-over, then define which appointment types count towards working time. The account compares credited calendar hours with targets over the last 27 weeks, with individual instructor rules available where needed.
Start the account from an agreed baseline
A balance without an explained opening value makes the first question difficult to resolve. Set weekly target hours in the staff profile, then establish the account start and carry-over. Compare credited appointment hours with that target. For example, agree an opening carry-over during onboarding instead of assuming that an older time sheet has been reproduced in full. The displayed balance uses those inputs. They need to be agreed and accurate. The account covers the last 27 weeks; setting a start date does not extend it into an unlimited history.
Make appointment credits match your school’s rules
Not every calendar entry should affect the time account in the same way. Review the rules for each appointment type and, where appropriate, the instructor’s individual setting. The overview shows the school default, any personal override and the effective rule. For example, agree which lesson types should count before interpreting an unusual weekly total. This makes the calculation easier to explain. Maintained appointments and suitable rules are essential: the account credits calendar time rather than measuring actual attendance, preparation time or breaks.
Discuss weekly figures with the supporting records
When a balance looks unexpected, start with the appointments behind it. Open the weekly overview and compare target hours with credited hours. If you need documents for the discussion, separately select the instructor and date range for a daily record or hours report in PDF format. You can then discuss the question using specific calendar data. Complete appointment information and an appropriate report selection are essential. Agree these inputs during closed beta setup. The account and reports do not replace time clocking or payroll.
Frequently asked questions
Can instructors view their own time-account balance?
Yes. The personal time-account balance is part of self-service in the instructor app. School-wide setup and maintenance take place in management; the current management interface requires full school permissions.
What happens when an instructor has no individual credit rule?
The school default applies for that appointment type. The credit overview shows the default, any individual override and the rule that takes effect.
How do we get access?
Driving school management is in closed beta. Apply with your school; scope, setup and admission are discussed. No immediate access.
Help shape the management beta.
We discuss scope, setup and conditions before arranging participation. Applying does not activate access.
