Theory lessons Closed beta

Run theory live — with QR attendance.

Theory lessons for driving instructors run in RoadReview as a live session on exactly one mandatory topic: attendance via QR with a signature, a live quiz to lighten things up and an optional broadcast — with progress calculated in the background.

One session per mandatory topic

A theory session is one live unit on exactly one FahrschAusbO mandatory topic; only one session is active per instructor at a time. Students check in by scanning a QR code and sign a record of the attendance declaration (declaration text, name, topic code, device). A manual entry by you remains available as a fallback.

  • QR attendance with signature; manual entry as a fallback
  • Attendance credits and excused absences are audit-logged

Quiz, broadcast and progress

From a per-topic question library you run live multiple-choice quizzes (2–4 options, exactly one correct). For those who can’t attend in person there is a live broadcast of the lesson (one instructor and up to 25 viewers). The curriculum follows FahrschAusbO 2012 (Annex 1) with 12 base topics plus class-specific material; the required amounts are calculated per class automatically.

Participation & prerequisites

Working in school management currently requires full school access. Separate restricted office logins are not available yet; we plan responsibilities with you during beta onboarding.

Frequently asked questions

How is attendance recorded?

Students scan a QR code, draw their signature and sign a record of the attendance declaration. If that fails, you record attendance manually — both are recorded in a traceable way.

Can I run live quizzes?

Yes. From a per-topic question library you pose multiple-choice questions (2–4 options, exactly one correct); students take part live and you see the answers in real time.

Is there a live broadcast of the lesson?

Yes, as a broadcast from one instructor to up to 25 viewers. Students can follow a theory lesson remotely.

Where do the mandatory topics come from?

From FahrschAusbO 2012 (Annex 1): 12 base topics plus class-specific material and, optionally, your own school topics. The class-specific required amounts are calculated automatically.
